Higa Hitoshi, a book of the complete school rules and regulations will be delivered to you via owl tomorrow during breakfast. Threats of any kind are not tolerated as suitable student behavior, as I believe you will find out while studying Genkan Gakuen's handbook, nor is ignoring a figure of authority when they address you.

I have been given the liberty of writing the exam you will take on October 10th at 2PM, to ensure you are familiar with the conduct expected of a student at this school. More information on that will be delivered with the handbook.

Anyone I catch violating a rule will be recommended (to their head of house) to sit for the exam with Higa-san. If that arrangement is impossible, others will be made.

ATTN: Inari Quidditch Team,

Nishino-san has stepped down as captain of our team and has asked me to take her position. She will remain a Chaser, and at the next meeting will share her story with the team. The first practice of the term will be on 10 September at 2PM on the pitch. Be there on time.

I leave for India tomorrow and have now just gotten all of Miu-san's glitter explosion out of my favorite coverlet. Despite that mishap, I enjoyed Miu-san's company over break, and enjoyed seeing everyone else I did, in a setting very different than Genkan.

It certainly is quieter at home, and with school less than two weeks away I urge my housemates to take advantage of their free time and complete their summer work well before 31 August. The new term is a chance to start anew in many ways, in both work ethic and Quidditch. I look forward to getting back onto the pitch with my team.

I will be slow with owls, and may not answer calls and texts in a timely manner until 29 August, so please be patient when trying to contact me from now until then.

Congratulations, everyone, for finishing this term's exams. I have a good feeling the majority of you passed. Remember, it won't do to worry yourselves until grades are released because what's done is done. Enjoy vacation.

If anyone wishes to speak to me during summer break, I will be reachable by owl. For those of you who were aware, I will no longer be going to India during the first part of break. The trip has been postponed to the 22-29th of August, so I will be most reachable before that time.

Counseling will resume 8 September. Please contact me as soon as possible for session availability. Have a safe trip home tomorrow morning.

Attention Inari: two weeks from now, I will have to cancel my Thursday (31 July) counseling sessions. I apologize, but I have exam the following Friday I must study for more than I previously thought. If you feel you absolutely need counseling that week, I have a few openings on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday which can be filled on a first come first serve basis.

I hope to see a lot of support at the upcoming Inari/Amaterasu match, but remember too much color and flashy charms distract the players. I strongly recommend people refrain from creating signs resembling Min-san's to Li-san. Quidditch is already dangerous enough; let's root for our team in a safe way.
